Berber Leather is run by father-daughter team Paul and Beki from the beautiful town of Richmond in the Yorkshire Dales. Berber Leather was created in 2015 when Paul received a leather satchel from a partner on a project that connected him with Morocco.

Many compliments on the bag later, Paul realised there was a market for these types of bags and Berber Leather was formed. Berber Leather works in partnership with Atlas Leather, run by Mimit in Al Hoceima in Morocco.

Together, these two companies select the best leather and the highest quality bags to be brought to the UK, and to you, the customer. Further information about the leather we use in our bags can be found on the Leather Production Page.

We are always happy to answer any questions you might have about our company or about the leather itself. The passion for our bags is clear because quite frankly we can talk anyone’s ear off about them! Moroccan Leather is a pretty unique textile in the way it is created, and the love that goes into making each and every one of our ranges means that you’re purchasing a truly unique handmade product.
